Simple and highly effective anti-fog device for all helmets in all types of weather

No fog here

Initial Thoughts

I have used a number of anti-fog creams, lotions, sprays and films and have found each one had a major drawback leading me to not use them any more. The Respro Foggy Anti-Fog mask is not one of these products and has remained in my helmet throughout winter spring and summer doing the same job whatever the weather, the secret I think is just down to sheer simplicity - most helmets that come with a breath guard are ineffective but are thinking along the right lines, the Foggy just does this but better!

Construction

Constructed from a soft neoprene the fabric is not only comfortable but also highly flexible allowing it to fit in pretty much every helmet around, utilising a velcro patch on the chin guard this forms the basis of its attachment to the helmet along with velcro on each side that fixes to the cheek pads inside the helmet. My personal experience with fitting is that it can be very hit and miss, too high or low on the velcro pad and it pushes the nose or lets too much air through, bad placement of the side velcro and you can (and will) get scratches on your cheeks or cheek bone area when you put the lid on.

That said once you have the position right you dont notice it is there - I find it best to fit it and just leave it alone to do its job effectively and silently.

Other than the initial fiddly application to fit correctly the Respro Foggy mask does its job without needing re-application and ensures your visor remains clear when you need it.

I have found no other product that is as effective without some other form of compromise and as a result the Foggy gets a full two thumbs up from me
