Premium Italian clothing brand Spyke has revealed its 2010 range of motorcycle apparel; the “Feel the Speed” collection features an extensive choice of leather and textile riding apparel, gloves and boots. Combining cutting edge technology with Italian styling, Spyke has a proven track record with some of the world’s best motorcycle racers including Randy Mamola, Loris Capirossi and Andrea Dovizioso.
Underlining Spyke’s racing pedigree and dedication to both form and function is the Blaster Race one-piece leather suit. Full-grain leather construction combines with high tensile fabric in the flex zones and a thermoformed, anti-allergenic, Neoprene collar for a comfortable fit. CE approved armour throughout underlines Spyke’s commitment to safety, with new shells on the shoulders and elbows manufactured from TPU and composite fibres. A removable poly mesh lining and aerodynamic speed hump complete the Blaster's impressive specification. Priced at £599.99 it is available in sizes 38” – 50” chest.

Topping the 2010 boot range is the Totem WP racing boot, which features full leather construction with a multi-density racing sole. A shock-absorbing PU lattice is sandwiched between the upper and the rigid panels and the shin plate is designed to allow movement forwards and backwards but not sideways, thus bracing the ankle. Meanwhile the fully waterproof and breathable membrane, ventilation in the shaft and heel protectors and a DEOTEX® odour absorption insole ensure day-long comfort whatever the weather. Totem WP boots sell in the shops for £249.99 in sizes 5-12.

The new Spyke glove collection also offers multiple choices for riders. The ST303 ventilated racing gloves are perfect for road and track use; with carbon shields and articulated panels to increase comfort and maximise grip, there is leather and Kevlar fabric in crucial areas exposed to frequent shocks, as well as adjustable Velcro wrist straps for a secure fit. Available in sizes XS-3XL at £99.99. Year-round riders are also catered for in the Spyke textile collection.

The Alps is a multi-layered high tech jacket with a removable waterproof and breathable interior membrane and separate thermal lining for those chilly days. On warmer days, ventilation is provided through a removable front panel and zips on the sleeves. Its high-strength, Teflon-treated Nylon Dynatech shell, CE approved shoulder and elbow protectors and back padding mean that the Alps can be worn with complete confidence. The Alps retails for £339.99 in sizes XS – 4XL.

The new Spyke women’s range offers a choice of leather and textile clothing tailored for a female fit. Just one of the options is the Dea Evo Lady Jacket; with a full-grain leather construction, fixed polyester lining and special 'short' cut, it's ideal for either sports or city riding. Removable CE approved shoulder and elbow armour provides excellent protection and two zips over the hips offer extra adjustment for a perfect fit. Produced in sizes 8-18 at £239.99 including VAT.

Spyke motorcycle clothing is distributed to UK dealers exclusively by the Key Collection. For further details on the full “Feel the Speed” collection call 0117 971 9200, or visit the link below   We look forward to getting some of this new range made available for reviewing shortly
