Highly recommended Cow and Kangaroo leather summer gloves with loads of useful ventilation for those hot summer day

Leather and 'Roo summer gloves

Initial Thoughts

Another product to test for summer use here and what looks like a well ventilated glove too. Frank Thomas bring the Strike Titanium to the plate that offers high specification and a relatively low price for a glove of this calibre.

Construction

While the outer side of the glove is made from cow leather the palm is created from kangaroo to give it a light weight and suppleness while still offering high levels of abrasion resistance, it is fastened securely byway of velcro over the lower forearm/wrist area and this is complimented by a wrist strap to ensure a tight but comfortable fit -snug even.

The fingers on this glove are well vented and allow for a nice experience in warmer weather, and for protection they offer not only an armoured knuckle area but finer details such as non-slip panels across the fingertips and palm. In terms of comfort these are rather nice, the leather supples very quickly and you don't notice you are wearing them after a short while.

Features

  • Leather and Kangaroo construction
  • Ventilated finger scoops for great cooling
  • flexible panels across the finger
  • Hard moulded knuckle armour
  • Punched and ventilated panels

The pre-requisite for a good summer gloves seem to rank comfort and ventilation right up there with price and protection, in fact I have seen many people complain about how stifling their gloves are in hotter weather (if you can remember what that is) - well not with these, they have comfort and ventilation in spades...

I was genuinely impressed at how good these gloves felt on my daily rides, in summer especially they did exactly what they were supposed to. Highly recommended.
